Expecto Petronas! (towers)

After our sojourn into the remote hill of the Cameron Highlands, we celebrated our return to civilisation (and activity) by cramming in as many tourist attractions as we could in Malaysia's capital.

First on the list was the Bird Park:

Displaying peacock (scuttling across the path)

Pretty Flamingoes

Macaques at the bird park - wait a minute, you're not birds...

The butterfly park was just next door (look away now Fran)

Just round the corner was the Islamic Planetarium

Jenny in Spaaaaaace

Matt in the 'anti gravity' room. It had gravity though.

...

The next day, despite our best attempts to get to the Petronas towers Skybridge, they had sold out almost as soon as it opened! So we went up a better tower instead. So there.

At the foot of the Petronas Towers

Viewing the Petronas Towers from our other, better tower.
Please note us being the Petronas Towers slightly to the left.

We spent the day in the centre of KL, shopping, and continuing our tourist adventure with...

...a visit to the aquarium!

...a messy Haagen Daaz treat

...and Formula One driving

The delights of KL exhausted, we booked our flights over to continue the Malaysian adventure in exotic Borneo!

eeeehehe! It's holding the baby by the tail! If I ever have kids I hope they're born with tails so that I can keep hold of them when they try to run away.
