No Hué José!

Well well well here we are in Hué, ancient capital of Vietnam with many ancient tombs and we are ready to sightsee!

Day 1 Walking tour of the Citadel:

Entrance to the Forbidden Purple City.
Admittance only to concubines and Eunuchs and the King of course.

Dragon and chickenphoenix made of paper.

Flag Tower

Day Four: Perfume River Boat Tour (OK so we didn't sightsee every day!)

We climbed aboard our dragon boat and headed down Hué's perfume river to explore the tombs of ancient kings. But first a display of Kung Fu!

Matt and his new Best Friend

Car belonging to the monk who burned himself in protest
of the South Vietnamese anti-Buddhism laws.

Tomb of a very unpopular king in Vietnam.
He raised taxes by 30% to pay for the construction of his
tomb and the people believe that he may have been gay (or Hi Five as our tour guide put it).

 Incense making village

Tomb of one of Vietnam's king considered to be a great thinker.
He was also very unpopular for writing poetry instead of feeding his illiterate populace.

Miscellaneous Days:

Fisherman's Friend vodka.

Bum
